Our Story

45+ Years of Built Integrity

Founded in Alaska in 1980 and incorporated in 1993, Epperheimer Inc. is a locally owned industrial coating contractor based in Kenai. We understand the diverse needs of our customers and the unique, severe environmental conditions of Alaska’s North Slope, Cook Inlet, and coastal waters.

Our company completes approximately 150–200 shop and field projects every year with an experienced workforce of 15 to 30 tradespeople. We consistently evaluate surface preparation methods and coating procedures to deliver reliable project outcomes.

Experienced Personnel

Our team is made up of local Alaskans who understand the demands of working in extreme arctic and maritime environments and take pride in doing the job right.

Jeff and Kevin Epperheimer bring a combined 45 years of management and operations experience in the coating industry, primarily serving Alaska’s oil and gas sector. Larissa Arbelovsky has nearly 20 years’ experience in oil and gas, with over 10 years as Safety Coordinator.

Our leadership team is highly experienced, with most holding AMPP/NACE Coating Inspector certifications, supported by blasters and painters who bring strong field experience and have completed AMPP-certified training. Strong continuity is built into our culture, with many team members serving with us for 5 to 20 years.

We are also committed to developing the next generation through outreach to local high schools, bringing in new team members who are now building skills and long-term careers in the industrial trades.
